About Nico Sanders:
Nico Sanders is the President and CEO of Community Housing Associates, a nonprofit committed to providing housing solutions for the homeless and mentally ill in Baltimore City. With a deep commitment to permanent supportive housing, Nico leads efforts that impact over 150 tenants and their families, ensuring they have access to stable homes and essential resources.
With over 25 years of experience, Nico has worked in business, nonprofit leadership, mental health, and public policy. Before his role at Community Housing Associates, he served as Chief Compliance Officer at a Maryland mental health clinic and worked as a lobbyist advocating for mental health and social welfare policies.
Beyond his professional work, Nico is a dedicated community advocate and board member of The ARC of the Central Chesapeake Region, working to ensure equity and access for under-invested communities.
